Tave Magana

Worship Team

My name is Tave Magana. I was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and I have nine siblings (eight girls and one boy). I am the wife of Gabriel Magana and the mother of four beautiful blessings. My husband and I have been leading worship through our Project Jericho events alongside family members and friends. My goal in life is to live well and do so with humility. I hope to reach people through the songs I sing so they can heal, just like I did and continue to do.

Things I treasure in life are God, My family, and peace. One of my favorite quotes is: "There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still." -Corrie Ten Boom

Lawrence Magana

Worship Team / Creative Director / Teacher

Lawrence Magana, a self-proclaimed guitarist, prefers this title over "musician." He aims for his music and art to reflect God's creativity. Whether creating guitar riffs, songs, murals, or websites, he wants his work to inspire thoughts about God. As a husband and father of two, he balances family life with his artistic pursuits, supported by his wife who embraces his quirks. Together, they lift each other up in times of need.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

9 Two are better than one because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor;

10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

Worship Team / Accountant

Kelsey Magana

Worship Team / Accountant

Kelsey began her musical career as a classical pianist. She transitioned to the keyboard during the early years of Project Jericho's beginning. Her passion for music shows in her high regard of excellence. She is always seeking to understand her instrument better and improve her skills. She tries to encourage the band to excellence as well, as she halts everyone during rehearsals to rehash one area of a song until everyone is truly in sync.... Over and over again. She is currently working to expand her skills and is dabbling in jazz and gospel music, hoping to improve her understanding of theory and playing by ear.

Alex Holder

Worship Team

I've lived in Utah my whole life. I love the outdoors and I'm a bookworm. About 15 years ago I started playing with the Project Jericho team and I've loved watching how we've all grown over the years. I first started playing music in 8th grade, I played the saxophone and sounded like a dying goose. But the music grabbed a hold of me and I've been playing ever since, thankfully I got better with time. I feel blessed that God has put me in a position to worship and praise him through Music.

Tim Welke

Worship Team / Academy Instructor

Music has always been a massive part of my life, and being able to be a part of worship and being involved with music with good friends and family has always been an incredible blessing in my life. I love the process of making music, listening to it, and getting into the theory and art of why it sounds so good. I mainly play rhythm guitar, but I just love to be involved whether it be bass, violin, or percussion. Even if it's just helping to set up or help out in the sound booth, I'm just happy to be part of the process. My other big passion is photography, being able to capture beautiful moments and express myself further through observation and storytelling.

Dylan Martinez

Worship Team / Project Manager / Academy Instructor

I’ve been involved in worship ministry since I was young, and have been playing drums since I was 11 years old! Music has always been my biggest passion, and I love to learn, play, and mix different genres, from jazz to rock/metal to gospel/worship. Besides music, I’m a very indoorsy person and enjoy spending time watching movies/tv shows, reading books/comics, and playing video games.

Daria Pratt

Worship Team

My name is Daria Pratt. I'm a Christian. I've been singing since I was 4. Shanon Brons did a few voice lessons with me when I was younger, which helped me hone in on my particular sound. I have a hankering for and curiosity about the deeper vocal ranges, and have played with a lot of the dynamics of how I want people to feel when they listen to me, not necessarily how I'll sound, but what emotions I will evoke and how much I can glorify God with my voice. It's always a gift when people sing and I immediately feel God's presence just embrace my soul... I wanna be an instrument God uses to plant seeds of wonder for Him, an instrument God uses for healing people. That's why I like singing for Project Jericho--it unifies, enriches and empowers the body of Christ and all those who are curious about God.

Sound Engineer

Ben Pratt

Sound Engineer

As the sound engineer for Project Jericho, I ensure that every note of the band's performances reaches the audience clearly. My passion for sound began at 13, and I've since developed my skills as both an engineer and musician. A few years ago, I started playing bass to deepen my music understanding, enhancing my ability to create memorable events. My favorite moments occur when the band syncs perfectly, the sound is just right, and the audience feels the music's power, connecting me deeply to my work and Project Jericho's mission.

Inspired by progressive rock's layers and sounds, I aim to merge these genres with the spiritual messages of Church music, creating an uplifting experience. Whether adjusting levels at the soundboard or playing bass, I am committed to worship and connecting the audience through music.

Sean Blanchard

Worship Team / Maintenance

Sean Blanchard, AKA Ricky, I have always loved music. My first CD was by The Cranberries, and I have been playing bass since high school. I took a music class and started with the guitar. I began playing bass in a church band in Roosevelt and met up with PJ about 15 years ago. I come from a long line of musicians. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, enjoying YouTube, and listening to various Bible teachings. I also enjoy video games, but I find that I never have time for them anymore. If I had three wishes, I would wish for Jesus to come back now, that no one in the world lacks anything through supernatural means—if anyone is hungry, food drops from the sky—and finally, that no one dies unless they want to.

Sound Engineer / Social Media

Natalie Murdock

Sound Engineer / Social Media

I'm the backup live sound engineer for the worship band at Project Jericho, and I've recently started helping with the band's social media. I first got involved back when Project Jericho had small church gatherings, which Lawrence invited me to. I took an interest in the mixing board, and Ben encouraged me to explore it further and spend time with the band. Outside of that, I enjoy photography and am currently learning videography and video editing.
